From my experience, I have the latest firmware and my r4i gold 3ds works just fine on my 2DS. If I were to suggest a flash cart for the 2DS, r4i gold card from http://www.thegamerdepot.com/buy-wood-r...sids-p-150.html would be it since they are constantly updating to get around firmware updates.

far as i knew,the default version of 2ds was v6.1, the other one all 3ds game cards can just work on N3DS V4.5-4.1,so i'm afraid, there havnt any cards can support 3ds rom and nds rom on 7.1.0-15 firmware.If you want buy a card for your N2DS, suggested you buy http://www.modchipfactory.com/wood-r4i-...s-lite-p-1.html ,this is the most famous slot_1 card,100% game compatibility and the price is hard to beat at the same time.

N2DS has the similar function with N3DS,so if a card can work on N3DS V7.1.0-15,then it will work on N2DS as well,but currently,there havnt any cards can support both 3ds rom and nds rom on v7.1.0-15 firmware, if your console firmware was v7.1.0-15,then you can just pick up a card to play nds games , such as r4i gold,dstwo and so on.
