so , i am new to flashcart , especially to 3ds flashcart (all i know is the gateway 3ds , r4i gold 3ds D.E and MT-card ).
i saw all these flashcart that can play 3ds games have two flashcarts , some mt-card official store , such as the usa based site http://www.usar4.com/ and http://www.mt-card.us .
i am wondering why need two flashcart to play 3ds games . my friend told me one is for playing ds games , another is for 3ds games , but i still don't understand , then i google on the internet , here is the answer that i can understand :
The DS mode flashcart is used to run a DS Homebrew which will replace the DS profile informations. The modified DS profile is then used to exploit a vulnerability in 3DS mode, access Kernel mode and patch the 3DS system.
The 3DS mode flashcart is used to play 3DS Game ROMs.
