i use limewire to download torrent file's content and since the last few days nothing is getting downloaded though the site(mininova,fenopy,torrentz.pirate bay) says there are plenty of seeders.even if a file or 2 starts downloading its at 1kb/s.has my ISP cut me off?can somebody please tell me what i can do to so that i can download?

Unless you only download torrent's occasionly, you'd probably be happier with a torrent client. And unless that's LW Pro, I'd use FrostWire, same developer's and interface, fewer hit's on searches but faster in general from what I've read. LW was going to implement DRM too but never heard they ever did. That said, any new firewall or AV the last few day's, a reformat, cap reached for the month, upload set to about 80 - 90%, ISP started throttling (what is it, someone may know)(try overnight, some ISP's that throttle don't at low usage time's)? Not connected but use a good AV, torrent's are known for malware but I've only ever seen a trojan year's ago (not to say there aren't-been lucky I guess) but friend's downloading music off FW see dozen's and LW is worse as I hear it.

dump limewire and get a torrent client like mistycat has posted, you might try utorrent it is small and verry easy to use. good luck
