Hey everyone i have been working on getting this port open for a few days now iv looked all over and i cannot find out what im doing wrong i have changed the settings in my router to(portfoward) 25565 and even tried using simple port forwarding program but even after all of what i have tried nothing will open it iv even allowed it threw my firewall befor testing to see if the port was open all i need is 1 open port to use so i can setup a basic MC server for me and 1 friend what am i doing wrong?

Could be your ISP, check here: http://wiki.vuze.com/w/Bad_ISPs or what is it? Some modems have a firewall and need forwarding too, may be listed here: http://portforward.com/ May need a static address, check it at command prompt by typing ipconfig/all and selecting enter, port forward has guides for that as well.
