I just read a tutorial on this website that explains how to record Sopcast video using a feature that is already built into Sopcast or using VLC media player. I understand the tutorial just fine but my question is does anyone know of a way to set a timer for VLC or Sopcast to start recording. I want to record a football game Sunday but I will be at work when it starts. Is there a way to tell VLC to start recording the football game when it actually starts since I won't be there to do it? The tutorial didn't mention if there was a way to do this or not. I hope that question makes sense. Thanks very much!!
