First you would need to check if the MKV is Blu-ray compliant. With the first question being is the resolution even compliant? Then the next question is, is it encoded within the allowable number of reference and b-frames?

If it is, it would be a waste to burn one MKV (remuxed to M2TS/Blu-ray format) on a blank Blu-ray disc. You could use DVD media and burn as AVCHD or if you are really intent on using Blu-ray use an application called MultiAVCHD to add multiple titles per Blu-ray disc.

The steps to burn a MKV file to Blu-ray if it is compliant as stated above is...

1) Open MKV file in tsMuxeR and choose Blu-ray output (or AVCHD for DVD media).

2) Burn BDMV and CERTIFICATE folders as UDF 2.5 with Nero or ImgBurn.
