Which will produce better results when transcoding a Blu-Ray to fit on a DVD9. Lock the filesize to fit on DVD9 and encode to 1080P or 720P? The former would have higher compression (more artifacts) with more resolution, the latter would have less compressions with less resolution. Anyone compared this?

Most of the time I'll steam the video to my PS3. So if quality is not much different, I would assume 720P is better since it requires less bandwidth (although I'm planning on switching from powerline to 1000mbit Ethernet so that makes that point moot when I do.)
