I'm trying to figure out a relatively simple way to do this. I've been burning all of my mkv's to acvhd's. Most of you know what acvhd's are, they are playable on Playstation 3 and most up to date blu-ray players. Anywho...figures my first attempt at this was a rough one. I chose to burn a mkv clip from european source. Everytime I put the newly burnt acvhd in the ps3 it would recognize it but when it played it would just goto a blank, black screen and play nothing. I finally figured out (after 4 wasted blank dvds) that the original mkv was in fact in a PAL format (25fps), not thinking the PS3 would make a fuss over it. I then used a NTSC clip, converted to acvhd and it worked flawlessly.

So I went thru all my mkv's that I'd like to burn, some are in PAL format. I need to figure out how to convert to NTSC so my disc's are playable. I fear the only way to achieve this is to extract the video and audio track. Convert video in meGUI...convert audio (not sure how)...then mux them together again using tsmuxer.
