Hi there. New to the forum but not new to dvd/blu-ray converting editing etc....However this has got me stumped.

The last two movies I've converted mkv to avchd and or standard dvd files have worked like normal except for an interruption when playing back for just a second or two made by old conversions I've done that have been deleted from my hard drive a long time ago.

I've used Nero 9 and Convertxtodvd and the same thing happened. How is this possible? If the older movies have been deleted why are these programs randomly taking a few frames and them just throwing them in to new conversions /burns I do?

IS there some kind of cache I don't know about? It's weird considering it's happened using two different programs to do the converting. It neverreally effects the playback it's just spooky!!

Anyone had this before?

Thanks.
