Hi to all,
First of all, this is my first post here, although I been reading here for years, I always find a solution to my problems via the search forum way.
Ok, here it goes...

I got an MKV movie file, Angels and Demons, it has a resolution of 1920 by 800, I initially used TS Muxer to convert MKV to BluRay, I later burned the resulting folders with IMGBurn, it all went well, however, when I played that BluRay disc in my PS3, there was a green bar in the bottom of the screen. After reading here, I figure out the the files must be either 1920 by 1080 or 1280x720 for the PS3 to play without green bars so I followed the suggested solution and I used TS Muxer to convert the MKV to M2TS, after that I burned the M2TS to BluRay and the file played great and with no green bars, except, it had no sound.. I then found out that DTS is not compatible with the PS3, so I converted the DTS sound to AC3 following guides in here as well (trying to keep this short but its been 2 days I been working on this). The resulting M2TS file with AC3 sound played wonderful in the PS3, except one thing, no subs! The subs are in the original MKV and also in the M2TS file as PGS, but don't show during playback on the PS3.
So after this lengthy explanation, I am trying to hardcode the subs to the M2TS so that the PS3 will show them, like i said, I already overcame several problems, the subs are the last part that need to be solved, so, how can I hardcode the subs to the M2TS?

Part 2 of question:

I originally wanted to play this same burned from MKV to BluRay disc on my Sony BDP BX1 which apparently is the same as the Sony BDP S350 but with name changed for Costco sales.
The resulting playback was perfect on some spots for like a second or two but ten it would be very pixelated, kind of hard to explain, picture looked sort of like that of a weak satellite signal, with some sort of blotchy squares in the picture or pixelated and back and forth between good picture and pixelated... basically unwatchable.
I wonder if this is also a consequence the resolution no being 1920 by 1080? By the way, this same BluRay would play perfect on my PC.
Has anybody have success converting MKV file that are not 1920 by 1080 exactly to a Blu Ray that plays fine in the Sony BDP S350??

Right now I am trying RipBot264 to recode the M2TS file back to MKV with the subs included, my PC has been working on this now for 12 hours or so... If that is successful I plan on creating Blu Ray folders of that to later burn with ImgBurn and give that shot on my BDP S350, hoping that pixelation goes away..

In short I want to:

1 Add subs to M2TS that are watchable in the PS3

2 Make BluRay disc from MKV that is not exactly 1920 by 1080 that plays fine in my BDP S350, subs and all... (This is what I would prefer to do since I don't really want to be borrowing the PS3 from my son to view my BluRays)

Thank you sooooooooooo much if you can help!!!
