How to use Panasonic player to see PC?

I'm new here and I've been searching, saw something from Samsung, but the player already searches for the computer.

I see all this BD players that connecto to the network and stream Netflix or YouTube, but why not just display what you see in your computer? I know some computers already have an HDMI connection so you can see them on your HDTV, but most don't have a way for digital audio to get into the hometheater receiver.

If we could use our networked BD players, machines that don't have HDMI (like mine) could use it to display and hear thru the hometheater.

OK, is there some software that can do this? And I don't mean transfering files or live stream, I mean a full connection to the hometheater thru the BD player.
