ok guys i have a dell demension with stock celeron d 320/ 2.53 ghz with a seagate 1.5 terabyte external hard drive and a panasonic external bd reader/writer. i have a couple of my movies on the seagate allready running by method of anydvd. i am currently running bd rebuilder to compress to dvd5. im 16 hrs in and 17 percent processed through bd rebuilder. im going to be playing on a ps3. is there anything im missing that could speed it up? i have blank bd-25 i could write to. when i started rebuilder i just wanted to see the quality on a dvd5. thinking of stopping and restart the encode to compress for a bd25 which should be less time consuming correct? my main objective like most im sure is high quality backup at low cost, but i have allready bought 25 blank bd25 i could use up for now till i figure a faster solution. is avchdcoder faster??? a faster computer is down the road a ways so thats out. would storing on seagate and linking or streaming to ps3 be a good idea for me? i havent looked into that as i was hoping for a physical media source. thanks in advance guys. can i get a mentor?
