I'm having trouble finding the info I'm looking for so I thought I'd just ask my questions in
this thread. We just purchased our first HD TV last month, I also recently purchased the entire
Star Trek series in blu ray. Now what I want to do is back-up these bluray discs to my media player.
I'm very familiar with backing up standard DVD, but this is all new stuff to me.
So here are my questions;
How long does it take to rip a bluray to my hard drive?
What is MKV and does it compress the video, and if so to what size?
How long does it take to compress a bluray disk?
Can I just make a bluray iso?
