Hello all!

It's been quite a while since I've posted here, but I am REALLY glad you all are here! I placed this post under 'DVD Rebuilder' because I'm not quite sure where to put it (no rude comments please :) ) I'm guessing that I WILL indeed probably hafta use DVD Rebuilder to do this, so HOPEFULLY I am okay. Actually from my subject you can tell that I am dealing with Blu-rays. Primarily I need help with just ripping the 'extras' from a BD. What I do is if I have one of my Dual Layer BD movies that I want to back up, I rip the 'Movie Only' either with AnyDVD or DVDFab and that works just fine ans is super easy. BUT, I would really like to then rip the 'extras' onto what I would guess would be a normal DVD5, since that should probably be easily enough space to put them.

Now, just so you know I am still using a single core processor (yeah, I know, soon...) So, for example I tried ripping one of my 30 Gig movie discs ('FORBIDDEN PLANET') and it took a whoppin' 35 hours to compress the movie to fit on a BD-25. So, I only back up my movies where the feature will fit on a BD-25 without any compression necessary. However, I can't quite figure out how to copy the extras only. I'm guessing that with BD Rebuilder I SHOULD somehow be able to do this because I sure can't figure out how to do it with DVDFab. With that program (the free one) as far as I can see you can either rip the entire disc or the 'Main Movie'. I don't see how you can grab the extrras.

Now, if I CAN use BD Rebuilder, since their SHOULDN'T be any compression necessary, is it gonna take forever simply to transfer the extras to a DVD5 if it is indeed possible to do that?

I'd sure appreciate any suggestions as to how to grab the extras.

Thanks so much!

My apologies. I just assumed since I would likely be using BD rebuilder that I should ask in that forum.

Thank you!
