I hope I am not posting in the wrong section...then again zippy dose tend to just post WRONG.... LOL

What I would like to do is record and keep HD programming of dish network, well my uncle dose, whats the best way to tackle this I know a HD TV box with a dual turner would be the start but I am unsure if they make it so they output that 2nd channel... then comes the problem of getting information off the DVR I can;t really seem to find "open" DVRs.
