I think this is the right spot-if not I apologize.

I recently purchased a 40 inch toshiba 40g300u and it didn't have a manual, nor can I download one. it is connected to my hd cable box by HDMI. I was getting the soap opera effect in movies and in network tv shows and did some research finding it was the film stabilization. Could someone offer up advice on how to tweak the settings to get the best hd experience? features are:: dynamic contrast/static gamma/color temp/cinema mode/clear frame/film stabilization. It also has the regular sharpness, color, etc. thanx in advance.....I know pc's but a newb to telly's :) ps: I understand to each his own and some setting go with room brightness and lack thereof.
