Hi people,

I bought the following TV yesterday: http://www.sony.at/product/t32-ex-series...=TechnicalSpecs

It has a DLNA-Client, which supports AVCHD. My "DLNA-Server" is a Windows 7 64-bit PC, with 2 gigs of RAM and a dual-core opteron 64-bit.(E6, Socket 939) ( WMP12 has the Divx Codec Pack installed and plays MKVs in a "decent" quality, which is just acceptable, if nothing else is happening in the background.) Both are connected via 100mbit through a router.

XVID streaming works fine. But, unfortunately, when I recode an MKV (x264, ac3) to an MTS file with MultiAVCD and stream this via WMP12, playback on the TV is choppy and bad quality. As a preset I took Viera/Panasonic (i think), and obviously didnt know what I was doing.

Does anyone know how I can achieve decent quality mts playback in a quick way, without transcoding the data streams. (i.e.: just swap the container)
