Hi Guys,
Newbie here. I have just been reading the thread about the above and tried to put a reply but because it was an old thread and I am a Newbie I am not allowed to reply. So I have to start a new one so here goes.
As the title suggests, I am interested in debranding my phone of the silly T Mobile screen and noise it makes everytime I turn it on or off. I have (yesterday) just updated the firmware, so this is what it says when I *#0000# 200.21.118 27-11-2008 RM-346 Nokia E71-1 (305.04). If anyone can point me in the right direction without having to send my phone away I would be very grateful. Also I am an oldy with not much of a teccy mind and messing with my phone really does scare me. I was pooing myself when I was upgrading the firmware yesterday but when it all went smoothly after restoring my latest backup I was buzzing (sad I know but it is a big deal for us oldies), so please be gentle with me. Thank you in advance. :) :)
