I'm in an area that their website assures me has excellent coverage. Their customer services are awful (based in India and very obviously woefully under-trained) so they were no help. Just kept saying "There is coverage in your area, sir" without actually hearing what my problem was.

With their SIM in my old phone, which I unlocked years ago (from Cingular-only and then used an Orange SIM up until recently) I simply get no bars. Attempting to request a network manually gets me rejected,

If anyone can suggest a solution or work around (short of getting a new cheap SIM which will be my plan C), I would be extremely grateful.
