Hi everyone, my first post so lovely to meet y'all.
I've got FF7 (the original) on my new PSP-3000. It's been working really well, but I'm now in the Nibelheim mansion looking for Sephiroth (disk 1, during the Kalm town flashback), and can't get to the door on the top right of the screen. I can go up the curved stairs to the right, but can't reach the door from there (it has a blue light shining through it).
Am I just being dim, and missing some other very obvious way to get there, or is there a problem with FF7 on the PSP? So far everything's been fine, and I just have to say it's great to be playing it again for the first time in 10 years ...
do you mean the secret basement? if so.
when you enter the mansion, go straight up the stairs and turn left.
all the way down the passageway will be a room with a circular wall in a corner and an outline in the bricks of a secret passageway. press O when you get to the wall and it should open it up and from there on its just a linear path to the library and sephiroth.
