Hi everyone,

Newbie here and this is my first thread!

I'm in need of help!?..
First off, what I have: PSP 1000, had 5.00 cfw, 8gb magic flash.

A couple days ago, I found a new game on Vuse (Azureus): Disgaea 2 Dark Hero Days USA PSP-EMiNENT
A Note to this download said, you need Firmware 5.55 to play and so I did (on Sony's web site). After installation I check the system info. Its ver. 5.51 and not the ver. 5.55 that was posted? Next I went to my games but the PSP shows no game ("There are no games")?...
Everything else is o.k., like the save files and pictures

I've tried to delete and reinstalling all those games but no luck.

Does anyone know how to get around this issue?

Well the good news, I know the problem

Bad news - you have updated to Official Firmware - the PSP will now ONLY play official games not from the memory stick.

As you are on 5.51 official - the only option is a pandora battery and a magic memory stick to put back on custom firmware.
