CWcheat menu not poping up

OK so i have the latest firmware and CFW for my psp (6.60)
but when i go to play a psp game Like God of war: Ghost of Sparta, the game loads fine.
BUT when i hold select no cheat menu pops up
i have both the plugins enabled (1 for psp and 1 for ps1 games)
and the ps1 games work with fine and activate the menu just fine, but when i play a psp game nothing pops up
any ideas?
