Hey, i know there's probably loads of posts about it already but hell if can find em, I'm totally new to the idea of moding so assume i know nothing.
I'm trying to run what it think is a homebrew game,althought i have been told the files are from the USA PSN network, and as i am running a PAL system they dont work and I'm guessing/hoping it's just a region thing?

I have the ID converter but cannot find the relative Pal codes particularly metal gear and resi for the Auto.txt file, anyone know or where they might be found? and if they will run without the custom firm ware,

If not im guessing i will have to sort out setting up all the custom firmware and PSAR Dumper etc, but im running the new firmware (6.2) and i dont know if/how to reset it back to version 5 or lower, can this be done with CFW?

Also any thoughts on the best method of moding, CFW+PSAR Vs Pandora Battery+MMC

If it is from the PSN then it will be for Official Sony Firmware only. You will also need to download it directly to get the licence on to the PSP.

If you have CFW then most PSN games etc have been patched to work on CFW.
