HELP: can't get CWCheat to show up

My PSP is Dark Alex Kidd 3.40OE-A.

I have two Memory Stick PRO Duo. One stick has CWCheat 2.23 and it works 100% fine. The other stick, I followed the installation instructions (which is quite straight forward, copy the INSTALL folder). However I can't get CWCheat plugin to show up in the options list. Does CWCheat only work on Sony sticks and not adapters microSD?
