can anyone put a light on this, i bought a faulty psp slim, when i opend it up i discoverd that the backlight fuse had gone and the umd dont work , i fixed it but not the umd yet, and put it back together again,and it fired up using pandora and rains 4.01cfw all went great updated it straight to 5.50 gen-d3 fires up everything was great everything worked, ok fired it up a second time and the logoes come on but when i tried to play anything and i mean anything it goes into play and the screen freezes, i thought of first the memory stick but thats ok. i mean it wont play anything it wont even load the psp ident or pandora, the memory stick sees it and notices it but when i press x it goes as if its going to load the program, sound a bit of a fade then thats it , it freezes on the outgoing screen of the game\program, tried it with ofw and this is the same with the umd, could the umd cause this because its still broken wont read discs, when i also go into recovery then exit the exit freezes and iv got to take the battery out for it to fire up again, iv noticed that the speakers crackle slightly on start up any help would be appreciated i am mostly into phats but this is my first slim, lol yes but yous know what i mean, thanx jimmy........... all the best.........or yes the board is a 88 v2 printed on board
ok fixed had to take it back to 401cfw also had to do a nand dump dumpt the nand then flashed it with 401 cfw for phat!!!! dont know if this will efect the slim though?? cos its got a tv out card!!! i only know that its working for now.....
