I cannot run SNES9xTYL, please help!

Whenever I run the Snes9x (Any of them) it says "Exit Snes9xTYL? O - Ok X - Cancel". If I hit X the error keeps reappearing, but shows the folders where I store my roms. Then if I hit O it freezes the PSP. I can't I am running on a Psp 2000 with "5.50 Prome-3". Before that, I had Gen-D3. I only go back to a parent folder either by hitting triangle. have 7 roms in the "ROM" folder, and I have tried removing them and then starting it, but that didn't work either. I tried many different versions of SNES9x but all of them did the same thing. Any words of help/Advice are very appreciated!

I had the same problem and I gave up trying to get it to work. The only solution is to find one SNES9xTYL version that runs with 5.50 Prome-3.
There should be one running around the interwebz somewhere ^ ^
