Helped a few friends with their 3001 psp's. One has 6.20, the other has 6.31. Curious if there is a way to play PS1 backup of FFVII that is in EBOOT format? I have tried creating an ISO using ISO compressor, but to no avail. I might be missing a step or 2, but i cant find a guide online on how to do this. I've scoured the forums on playing EBOOT games, but haven't found anything. Going to keep looking, if i find something i will retract this post. Thanks in advance

Edit: Forgot to say that their PSP's are softmodded with patapon or the japanese game using HEN and Promethius.

You don't need Hen or Patapoon anymore, as long as you are still on 6.20. Try 6.20 TN-C, it's signed. There are rumors about 6.20 TN-D supporting PS1, but so far there is no possibility to play them on a PSP 3000 with anything above 5.03 official firmware.

Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

There is a downgrader or you can use 6.35 PRO, but I heard that 6.20 TN-C is better, supports more homebrew and the ISO loader for normal PSP games works a little better. I don't use either myself as I have 5.50 Prome4.
