PSP-2000 power problems

Hi, just recently i found out my psp-2k have power problems
Anytime I put the psp to sleep mode, it completely shuts down, then when i turn it on, it doesn't turn on. The only way to turn it on is disassemble the psp, and properly connect this is to properly connect the ribbon on the power board.

Then the above will work again when I shut down the psp
Help me fix this.

EDIT:

Procedure:
1st. PSP turns on (Successful)
2nd. Put to sleep mode
3rd. Wait at least 10secs to turn on (Shuts down after Sony logo)
4th. Wait another 10secs (Successful)

Cycle continues again if PSP putted to sleep mode again.

As you said that your PSP 2000 doesn't restart when you turnoff it then I think problem is in Battery or the power switch board may be not working properly. So check properly that where the problem lies.
