Hello,

I havent built a pc in a while and went out and bought the bits.
I have bought an ez cool 1000 psu and an ASUS m5a97 motherboard.
The power connector which used to be a 4 pin is now an 8 pin connector.
The psu I fitted is eatx and the long connector is ok but I'm wondering if the short connector which is 6 pin
Is going to work correctly?
any advice would be welcome

Thanks

it should as its just two of those 4 pin connectors stuck together. if i remember correctly the 4 wires you want are the first 4 pins on the 8 pin connecter.
