Hi,i currently have a ATI 2400 HD pro and im looking to upgrade,
my specs are:
Amd Athlon II 620 Quad core,
Asrock N68-s motherboard,
3G Ram
Windows 7

I would like to play most modern games, has to have hdmi port for around a budget of 50-60 pounds, iv seen a few here but im very new to graphics cards and i wouldn't know which one would be best for my specs. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Best for that budget is probably this:

It's no pro-gaming card, but it can play most modern stuff on low settings without too much lag. It's more than 10 times as powerful as your HD2400 Pro.

What PSU did you buy?
The 230W PSU provided by standard PC manufacturers would actually be enough to power a card like the one I posted, no problem. Cheap PSUs you buy off websites can be a liability, the brand is very important. If you bought a low quality unit, you would actually be much better off with the 230W unit you had before, as cheap 400W units will fail before 150W (they lie about their specs) and when they fail, they can fail spectacularly.
