Okay I'm looking to build a decent gaming computer, although am unsure about whether I have chosen the most suitable components. My budget is about $1,300. Anyway here is the build I have chosen so far:

CPU: Intel i5 750 2.66GHz
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3
Graphics: Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5750 1GB
RAM: Elixir 2GB DDR3-1600 240 pin PC3-12800 UDIMM x2
Case: Thermaltake V3 Black Edition Mid Tower Case
PSU: 450W ATX 12V V2.2 (comes with case)
HDD: Seagate SV35 Series 500GB 3.5" SATA 32MB 7200RPM ST3500410SV

I am unsure about the graphics card and also if I should purchase a diffferent PSU. I don't need an optical drive as I already have a Pioneer one available. This would cost me around AU$880, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

If I were you, I would get a more powerful PSU. Not sure how well 450W will handle core i5 and radeon 5750.

I would at least get a 600-700 watts PSU

700W:
OCZ StealthXStream OCZ700SXS 700W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply - Retail ($79.99 USD)

700 watts is largely overkill. 5750s dont draw all that much power compared to most higher end cards.

A 450 might be sufficient, depending on just how good the PSU is. If it were a corsair I would likley say yes, but a ~500 watt corsair should get the job done. 600 Watts wouldnt hurt to give you more headroom but even a 500 watt should give you some head room.
