G'day guys, reporting in from Australia here. I'm not overly tech savvy and was wondering if I could get your opinions on two options of computer build I've got here.
I'll be doing a bit of gaming, but mostly using programs that demand ram, such as video editing, the entire adobe suite, Autocad and playing up coming and past games such as the entire CoD series, Crysis, Battlefield etc.
The sacrifice is going from 16GB of RAM, to 8GB, but increasing the processor speed. Here are the two links.
P.S. monitor size isn't a factor as I've already got a 42" and a 22".
Also, I currently have an ATI 4650 512MB card, these computers come with an ATI 5450 1GB card. From my understanding, the 4650 will out perform the 5450 even with a significant difference in VRAM?
never buy a prebuilt computer with intentions of upgrading it. It's very often fraught with complications and unexpected issues. Neither of those systems is capable of playing games like Crysis and Battlefield Bad Company 2 / Battlefield 3 because they do not have powerful enough graphics cards. You need to be spending a fair amount more than that for a prebuilt system. Have you considered building your own?
