Im thinking of geting a new pc bacause my computer has been upgraded to the best i can go with out a new motherboard. I have been looking for a computer and found this Its the best thing i have found at the price. how long will it last for gaming? would i need to update soon?

Try to remember that were not psychic and have different opinions than you. That said, to answer this question, one would need to know the games you play, the games you plan on playing, and the settings ( including resolution ) you plan on playing them at.

How long would it last?

It is made by Acer, so I would guess that it will break sometime during shipping, or within the first few days of use. If you are lucky, it might last 6 months to a year. In terms of performance, it is the low end of the last generation, so there are already games that will run poorly or only at low resolutions.

Also, Windows 7 has been out for 8 days now. This system has a "free upgrade" from vista, but you can get systems that come with Windows 7 pre-installed.

Im probably going to play the latest Fps games like modern warfare 2 when it comes out. Im not sure what resolution I would be using. What computers would you recommend?
