Hi every one.
Got a problem on my new pc that i`m hoping someone can point me in the right direction for.
I have no post screen.
When the pc powers on, all the fans start and there is a single bleep...but thats as far as it gets.
The screen remains blank
Ive tried all the normaly checks, like un unplgging everything and checking cable configeraton and resetting the cmos.

The specs are as follows:
Mobo: nvid 680 sli
CPU Daul core
4gig ram (over 4 single dimms)
Graffix 6800gtx PCI E
4x 500gig western hard drives.
Dudes, any help on this would be great!

I'm assuming this is a second hand PC? Was it tested by the previous owner? Single beep usually means POST successful, so it might be a graphics fault.

Definitely check your connections. I know... stupid thing.. but hey.

If you've got another monitor to test against do it. If it's the vga port your using, try the dvi port (with appropriate connector of course).

One beep usually means all is good.

It's kind of tough to diagnose with the lack of information, but it's kind of tough to gather information when thats the only thing happening with yer rig.

Good luck!

Also, try disconnecting all but one drive. See what happens. It may be a power issue. Doesn't sound like it but I've run into odder things.

Thanks Guys
Yep it is a second hand pc that i`m recasing.
I know that all the components are good has ive been using the pc in another case.
I think its something ive done although i`m a little suspect of the PSU as the boot button on the pc flashes for a while before the pc will boot.
