I recently thought of this idea. Its quite simply actually, but I'm not sure how it'll turn out, so I decided to ask you guys :D

Heres the idea:

- Buy a cheap chinese GPS device (5inch touch screen) running Windows CE (around
400mhz with 64mb ram)
- Use a software like Mio Pocket to unlock the device to allow access to Windows CE
- Guy a wifi sd card to give the "tablet" wifi capabilities

So there you have it, should, according to my calculations cost around 150 bucks.

Comments/suggestions/construction criticism is welcome :)

If all you want is a 5" screen, a 400MHZ CPU,, 64mb ram, and WiFi, you can pickup an old HP iPaq with those specs (and windows CE) for under $100 on ebay...some can even have linux installed. If you want 3G, that is another story.

This won't be a tablet PC, just a tablet...no better than the iPad, and even worse in some ways if you can believe that.
