Hey guys!
Even though I am new here, from what I've seen you have some pc PROs here ;P
Hehe.. Well.. I am upgrading my PC from time to time.. and I need some help here.. hmm
Old PC Rig:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 2,13 Ghz (Sold already with another case it self)
2GB RAM (2X1GB Somewhat Samsung Ram type at 667mhz)
Nvidia GeForce 8600GS 512MB
Crappy Little HDs.. etc.
ProView 17"
A crappy 350watt Power.
an crappy motherboard
A big black case... Full Tower... weight like 14kg.
Current PC:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 rated at 2,7~ Ghz (6MB L2 Cache)
Ram: Same ram....as the old ones... Forgot to mention, they are DDR2
GPU: Sapphire ATi Radeon HD4670 1GB GDDR3
Hard Discs: 500GB Outside / 20GB & 320GB Inside
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster T200HD @ Full HD with HDMI Cable resolution (1920 x 1080)
Speakers: Logitech X-350 @ 140 Watt - 5.1 Set up fully working
Power: 500Watt Thermaltake (forgot the model..)
Motherboard: Gigabyte EG41MF-US2H
Case: Fujitsu Siemens Scaleop (Midi)
Thing is... I do not fully enjoy all game titles I want... I know and I've been told I have one good and powerful CPU.. which actually helps etc... but I don't get the performance I want on some games...!
I know that the GPU I choose to upgrade from old to this (before 3-4 months) was no the best, but was lacking funds to get a even better one...
I can play almost all games I want.. but I want to be able to play them even better.. with more FPS and less lag sometimes...
What should I upgrade? Ram? Or GPU? (If GPU, not atm.. but will be in 2-3 months... :X)

The RAM and the GPU are your main issues, the CPU is plenty powerful enough for all modern games. Right now, unless you're using Windows XP, 2GB of RAM is nowhere near enough, getting 4GB of RAM should be your first priority. However, the HD4670 is a pretty weak graphics card by modern standards, so you should also look to upgrade that as soon as you can.

I'm actually using Windows 7 Ultimate at 32bit version..
Anyone else?
Should I get 1 GB of ram? or 2GB? (to make it 3 or 4?)
and if yes... does it mind if I get another type of ram ? I mean.. I have 2 x 1 of Samsung, what if the rest 1/2 are Corsair? Does it matter for pc?
(I have 4 slots of ram)

You are going to need to switch to x64 soon...but for now, you can add another 1.5GB of ram...you can add more than that, but you will not be able to use it until you go x64. The good news (possibly) is that if you have the retail version of win7 ultimate, then you already have a license for the x64 version.

Don't add 1.5, add 2, just use 1.5 of it. Using 512MB sticks in combination with 1GB sticks is pointless, as it doesn't save any money and is more risky in terms of compatibility.

Eh, none of you answered to my question.
Is it bad if I mix 2 types of brand as in Ram?
Samsung 1GB
Samsung 1GB
-Empty Slot- > Would like to buy Corsair x 2 to fill this and the one under this one.

Can I mix it? or there will be problem?

Don't Mind the links / text on the left, they are for a gaming community I play on.
I think I do have a key of WIndows 7 on my old PC Case...
But in anyway, if I can not find that, I have Windows XP like 7 times ;P & 2 x Vista keys.

Usually mixing brands is OK, but it's always a possibility that you'll get some form of compatibility issues. Generally, as long as the sticks are the same size, speed and latency, you'll be fine.

Well, The already 2 Samsung ones are 667, if I buy Corsair of 800mhz, Would it be a problem as long I do make them run on 667 through BIOS?

There shouldn't be an issue, but ideally you should buy RAM as close to the specs of your other RAM as possible.

Hmm, I was testing some games today with big demands... so far, DiRT 2 on Max goes like 20-25FPS... without Anti Aliasing it goes 45-50 (On Ultra High Settings & on 1920 x 1080)
GTA IV, Tested it on low settings & lowest resolution, Results: 120FPS...!
Later tested it back to 1920 x 1080 and on lowest, I got about 40FPS... After getting the graphics a little bit up, to Medium I can say.. Good gameplay, play-able at Medium, Average: 25-35 FPS
As for ram, I'm waiting a guy to pay me some money since I sold him a PC (Tower only with my EX-CPU.. Core 2 Duo E6400) so I guess once I have these, I'll go with the RAM Upgrade...
but I've also been looking to a few GPUs from a local and kinda cheap store.. and I've found a few card I like... or I believe would work good with my system
At choosing GPU, I'd need a little bit help... I've been using Nvidia ages ago... turned into ATi (and I still get results I want even with poor GPU)
But question is, Which brand should I buy cards of? Sapphire? XFX? MSI?
Here's a list with 2 cards I found and which actually fit my wallet ;P and are kinda good for a low price.

If I could get one of the above, which should I go after?

Neither of the two cards listed are any better than the HD4670 you already have.

I'd like to have the help of such a pro like you on the PCs ;P (as I see from your Systems ;P)

150 euros should get you an HD5770, much more powerful than the 4670, and the alternatives you posted.

5770 kinda goes high for me.. means I'll have to wait after the ram to get one of these...
I found these 2 which I can get if I save...

I believe what fits me more is the 1GB Card = 2nd one... am right?

Which country are you in? It should be easy to find an HD5770 for 150 euros.
