when i boot my computer everything runs but it does not display anything at all(monitor does work) and none of the usb plugins work, i have a brand new motherboard because my last one died. My keyboard lights up but when i press num lock or caps none of those lights light up. it doesnt make any beeping noises either

POST failure. Check the new board has been installed properly, and all power connectors are connected securely (especially the 4 or 8-pin CPU power connector)

Ive checked everything and i thought maybe it was because my psu has a 4 pin connector and the mb requires an 8 so i got the adapterno luck

First things first...reset the CMOS and return the jumper to the run possition.

Ok i have a thermaltake 650 watt psu which is plenty i bought the msi p7n sli mb and im positive t is in correct but how do i reset the jumper

Ok im sorry for posting twice but im using my phone and it wont let me click the edit link but anyways the ram is in there correct and its the right kind but how do i set the jumper to run and what is the jumper

Out of curiosity why the P7N SLI? I know it's already been purchased, but I'd like to make you aware that nforce chipsets are commonly unreliable.
