Hi guys

I've attempted to revive my gf's 3GS which has slowing been becoming more an more unusable firstly with the home button not responding at all and more recently with the phone not booting past the apple screen.

She uses her phone whilst in the bath so I assume it's to do with the humidity getting inside the phone.

I opened the phone and both moisture stickers are still white.

I tried cleaning any exposed areas and the contacts for the home button; nothing appears out of the ordinary.

I've tried resetting the boot loop with iREB to no avail.

The current condition is: constant boot loop with the screen turning black then off, and sometimes, at random, it displays the apple logo for a few seconds but doesn't ever get past it (it turns off again after a few seconds).

Does anyone have any advice? Any where on the motherboard to clean? Something I haven't reassembled correctly?

The phone was running redsnow jailbreak for firmware 4.1 if I recall correctly.

If anyone could help, you'd be making the two of us happy!
