I've just recently acquired a jailbreak iphone 2G with a version of 3.0. I've searched and couldn't find a way to update the custom firmware to 3.1.3 or 3.1.2. I was hoping someone could help me out.

I'm not sure if I'm suppose to restore the iphone, update the firmware and then re-jailbreak or if I could run blackrain or red snow to update. I can't get my iphone onto wireless since I'm at a school that has a certificate system for the internet so I haven't found out how to use Cydia....

If someone can help me out, that would be great. Thanks
