What use is the IMEI to him anyway? Unless, he is insuring an iphone 4 (with our imei numbers.. (believe me, I have seen this done before))..

What happens is: You insure a mobile phone (although you don't actually own one) but using someone elses IMEI number.. you then leave it a month & then report it lost/stolen and claim on your insurance... HEY PRESTO!! New iphone 4 for a small payment to an insurance company..

Anyone else thinking this???

My Iphone is not yet unlocked. Is there anything done on my iphone to be unlocked?
Its like 4 months passed but I'm still hoping you can do something about this.

According to what I have seen about mate, as soon as you connect your iphone to your computer itunes then connects to apples servers to look up the imei and then it should show up with the following:

It's suprising what someone can do if they program your IMEI number into their phone. Send texts, make expensive phone calls, order a curry, use up your internet allowance

Yeah, I have asked him (blaxxzor) how long it took, he answered about three weeks. But do you guys think his name is strange compared with YRazor? Note ...zor
And YRazor told me that unlocking could be taken up to 1week, however it's nearly 2 week so far, and nothing happened to my ip4.

I'm the same as you mate... as a precaution I have reported this post to apple and they have told me to report it to the police, which I intend on doing in the morning..
