Opening mddata files using sqlite and firefox, nothing happens?

I am trying to read my mddata files from my Iphone file backups. I see lots of the mddata and mdinfo files listed. No matter what I click on, nothing happens using sqlite.

I downloaded Firefox 3.5. Then I downloaded sqlite 0.5.5. I installed the addon in Firefox, go to tools and clicked Sqlite Manager. Opens up sqlite just fine. It wants me to open a database.

By default it is looking for a file with the extension *.sqlite. I switched this to all files and I can see all the mddata and mdinfo files.

I clicked on one of them, tell it to open, but nothing happens. Sqlite still says Database not Selected.

What am I doing wrong? Is there another way to read these files? I am running Windows XP.
