Iphone 3GS 16GB
Model: MC131B

Running 3.1.3 Baseband 05.12.01

It is jailbroken and unlocked to all networks.

I would like to upgrade the firmware to 4.0 or higher, but I want the ability to keep it unlocked to all networks. What is the highest firmware version I can upgrade to that can still be jailbroken, and how can I go about installing it while keeping the phone unlocked.
