Why are Installous downloads sooo slow? iPod Touch 2G 3.0 Jailbroken

Ok I really need someones advice here. I recently decided to upgrade from 2.2.1 jailbroken iPod Touch 2G to 3.0 after hearing some good comments about the firmware. After I installed all the necessary stuff like some ipod tweaks from cydia, stuff from hackulus repo like the AppSync 3.0 and Installous.

Later I decided to redownload all the cracked apps I had and they download but they are EXTREMELY SLOW. It takes literally 1 hour to download a 5 meg app. I tried everything! Upgrade router firmware, reinstall all the Appsync and Installous stuff, but there is nothing! And I am on cable! I want to know if there is a fix for this 2.2.1 was 200 times faster than now. I used to get more than 100 kbs download speeds not its like 2. Please help!

Again, iPod Touch 2G running 3.0 jailbroken firmware. Jailbroken with redsn0w 0.7.2

(oh also, internet browsing is much faster than downloading. and I always choose the best mirrors for downloading like endlessapps, 4shared, 2shared, ipauploader, etc.) Nothing crappy like appshare
