I'm not an Apple fanboy and loved every bit of my trusty Android for 2 years, but still recently I bought an new iPhone 4s. I was happy with my new purchase but within the first week itself phone has been getting hot to the point where I cannot hold it. Is it a normal thing or some manufacturing defect? What should I do?

P.S- My iPhone is not jailbroken.

talk to the place you bought it from as the battery is overheating which is not good for the battery or phone.

Thanks for the reply! Should I go to Apple Store or from where I have bought this phone?

Take it back and tell them to give you a new one that doesn't get hot.It sounds like a defective phone. It could happen again and maybe start a fire.

overheating is caused by faulty components,a faulty battery or bad wiring.
