LG GW620 Radio Update?

Does anyone know if the LG GW620 has a radio update such like the HTC Dream does in this link? link

I have the HTC Dream and updating the radio is easy and really improved my signal strength issues I was having with it. Now I am wondering if there is one for the GW620 just cause I have that phone as well and the signal strength is brutal compared to the HTC. If anyone knows of a update that would update the radio please let me know.
