Some BDRips act strange with WD HD TV Media Player

Some of the blu-ray rips that I've found work perfectly with my Western Digital media player. Some do not allow for Fast Forwarding or Rewinding, but can be paused without issue. And then some will restart from the beginning of the video any time that it is paused and then unpaused. Anyone have any insite as to why this may be?
