Hi All,

I have a peculiar one. I have a few AVCHD files which are now sitting on my laptop (around 7.5-8Gb each). Have no problem burning the AVCHDs onto a Verbatim DVD+R DL for use in a Bluray player/PS3. However, I would quite like to convert these for use on my HD-DVD player (in the same HD quality and at the same size).

I know AVCHD is a bluray-on-DVD standard so I was wondering if there is any kind of HD-DVD equivalent. And if there is, can anyone suggest a suitable program for converting it to the HD-DVD standard?

Also, would the method for burning AVCHD with ImgBurn be the same for whatever format I'd be burning for HD-DVD? Anyone have any knowledge/experience doing this?
