DVD 9 & DVD 5 files

In the last few months I've been getting DVD 9 & DVD 5 files for movie downloads, is there any simple way to convert them to .avi files so a dumb old man can use them. First it was mkv now it these things, if anyone knows what I need or how to do it I would be most appreciative.

I don't know what you have, but here is a typical listing of a DVD movie.




To convert that to an AVI you can run AutoGK, select the relevant .IFO file as the input source.(in this instance it would be VTS_01_0.IFO)
Select an output path.
Select audio and subtitles if necessary.
Select 'Target quality'
'Add job'
'Start'.

Can a 70 Y/O do that you think, damn making it harder and harder, where do I get that gizzmo AutoGK ? Looks simple enough very well posted instruction. Thank You Pard, will that work with both??
