I've been wanting to convert a bunch of mkv's on my comp to fit onto a BD-R and play in a Blu Ray player. Is this even possible?

I dont expect any quality improvements or anything like that. I'm just trying to somehow get the video's onto a BD-R and have it play on my PS3 or any Bluray player.

I was going to try Convertxtodvd, but that only does DVD formats.

Blu-ray isn't a video it's a disc format, you burn video files to the disc like any dvd,go check the guides section & see if there's something there

Ok, I found 2 programs. ImTOO Blu-Ray Creator and Xilisoft Blu-Ray Creator. Turns out they're the exact same program from what it looks like, just different color scheme.

Unless those weren;t either the 2 you were talking about.

I tried ImTOO out and it's got my audio off by 20 seconds ahead of the video. Strange.....

I just tested out a couple files to see if it'd work. But yes it does seem like it'll take awhile with alot of files.

I need a BD-RW to test this out instead of wasting discs.

Are there faster programs? Or does this just take a long time period?
