Trying to convert DVD to Mp4

I backed up my DVD's a few years ago and I used the backups to watch and have my originals boxed up in my storgae room in my house so they stay in new condition.

I just bought a Ipad and I would like to convert the DVD's to Mp4 format. I have Free Studio that has 43 different conversion tools. I have been converting some movies I had that were avi to Mp4.

Does anyone know Free Studio well enough to tell me how I can take the Audio_TS and video_TS folders on my backup DVD's and convert to Mp4 so I can watch them on my Ipad.

Please, I do not want suggestions on other programs that do the job unless Free Studio can't do it. If Free Studio has a utility that will do the job that is how I would like to do it.
